1. General
- These terms apply to all sales, repairs, and services provided by AppleSoft, located at 59 Station Road, Penrose, Auckland 1061.
- By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy.
- AppleSoft reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
2. Products & Services
- AppleSoft offers new and refurbished electronic devices, accessories, and expert repair services.
- Product availability, specifications, and pricing are subject to change without notice.
- All prices listed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
3. Warranty Policy
- All brand-new Samsung devices come with a 24-month warranty.
- All other electronics with an IMEI/Serial Number include a 12-month warranty.
- Accessories such as batteries, chargers, cables, and memory cards carry a 3-month warranty.
- Warranty is valid from the date of purchase and only applies to products used as intended and in accordance with user guidelines.

4. Repairs & Services
- All repairs are return-to-base and must be accompanied by a valid AppleSoft receipt.
- An Assessment Bond of $55 is required to log a service request under warranty. This is refundable only if the issue is covered under warranty and a fault is found.
- Repairs typically take 5–15 working days, depending on parts availability and technician capacity.
- Repaired items are covered by a 30-day service warranty on the work performed.
- Repairs do not cover user-caused damage, liquid damage, unauthorized modifications, or wear and tear.
5. Returns & Replacements
- Devices found to be irreparable under warranty may be replaced with a similar device of equal value.
- Refunds are offered only if neither repair nor replacement is possible.
- Returns must be approved by AppleSoft within 7 days of mutual agreement.
- Shipping costs:
- Customer pays to return the item to AppleSoft.
- AppleSoft pays for shipping back only if a valid fault is found.
- Ineligible returns require the customer to cover both-way shipping.
6. Data Loss Disclaimer
- AppleSoft is not responsible for data loss during assessment or repair.
- Customers are strongly advised to back up their data before submitting a device.
- AppleSoft shall not be held liable for any direct or consequential loss arising from data loss or corruption.
7. Liquid Damage & Exclusions
- No warranty applies to liquid/moisture damage.
- Any signs of corrosion, even if the device appears functional, will void the warranty.
- AppleSoft reserves the right to decline service where unauthorized tampering, third-party software modifications, or physical damage is evident.
8. Payment Terms
- Payment for all purchases and out-of-warranty services is due at the time of purchase or completion of service.
- AppleSoft accepts EFTPOS, credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and cash (in-store only).
9. Ownership of Unclaimed Items
- Items not collected within 60 days of repair completion notice will be deemed abandoned.
- AppleSoft may dispose of or retain such items at its sole discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
- AppleSoft shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or services.
- Our liability shall never exceed the purchase price of the product or service in question.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
